The SkinControl system

The exact measurement of skin state and intensity of irradiation

SkinControl recommends your client the ideal duration of radiation. For this, there are two kinds of information needed:
  1. Which >> intensity of irradiation do the solaria have?
  2. How is the current skin state (how high is the self-protection of the skin against UV-light)?
The “SkinControl system”:
SkinControl-SOL is measuring the intensity of your solaria
SkinControl-STANDUP is measuring the self-protection of the skin against UV-light

The measurement of solaria with SkinControl-SOL

SkinControl-SOL is measuring the intensity of irradiation of the UV lamps in the solarium and that in only a few minutes. A >> radial measurement is carried out. Therefore, position the SkinControl-SOL at three to five different positions on the projection surface of the solarium. Four measuring eyes (on top, at the bottom an on both sides) define the right dosis of the erythema-effective radiation intensity (the strength and the portion of the UV radiation causing sunburn).
By measuring regularly with SkinControl-SOL, you are always informed about the current radiation intensity of your solaria. Depending on the power drop of the lamp and the usage of the apparatuses, it is recommended to remeasure the solaria every 6-10 weeks. Furthermore, everytime after changing a lamp, there should be another measurement.

The measurement of the skin with SkinControl-STANDUP

Via infrared port, the measured intensities of radiation are transferred to the SkinControl-STANDUP, the main measuring device. This way, it always “knows” about the run solaria's intensity of radiation. An indispensable information in order to be able to recommend the ideal duration of radiation!
SkinControl measures the current state of skin and not its colour. What is measured is >> the skin's own protection against UV-light. In conclusion, SkinControl measures the thickness of the light callosity and the size of the pigments. Changes due to exterior impacts, e.g. increased sensibility to UV-light as a result of taking pharmaceuticals or due to extraordinary dryness of a skin, are taken into consideration and are detected.
However, this is not meant to replace a competent consultation, but to support it. Questions regarding the consumption of pharmaceuticals or the last time under radiation etc. are still to be asked. The client is being consulted and the employee decides, if he is gauged in grade Basic, Cosmetic, or Intensive.

With SkinControl-STANDUP, the skin is measured at >> 3 measuring points . After that, SkinControl recommends your client his individual >> duration of radiation for every solarium in your studio.
Optionally, you have the possibility to create a >> radiation prognosis for one solarium of his choice, for the next 10 usages.
